Craig McCormack is a current PhD candidate at The University of Western Australia, where his interests are in space architecture, science fiction and techno-utopian studies. A recent graduate of the Master of Architecture program, McCormack is also a director at felixlab, and a coordinator of design, digital software studios, and a tutor of architectural history and theory at both The University of Western Australia and Curtin University of Technology. As a member of felix. + Giles + AndersonMcCormack was a creative director for the Venice Architectural Biennale Australian Pavilion 2014. An early career academic, McCormack has published drawings and articles both locally and internationally.

2015  Subiaco Augmented Reality Park, (Perth International Art Festival 2015)
Creative content manager and creation, app designer, artist liaison for a public art experiment involving interactive, publically accessible, geo-located, augmented reality content.

2014  Design and construction of the Australian Pavilion at the Venice Architectural Biennale 2014
Creative Director as part of the team, felix., Giles, Anderson & Goad.

2013  Sydney Green Square 2nd stage library and master plan
As a member of felix. the design was shortlisted in the initial competition before being developed as a Stage 2 developed, engineered, and costed proposal.

Awarded to the student whose work has been most outstanding and who has also made a general contribution to the work of the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Visual Arts.
